8 IMPORTANT HADITH IN ISLAM ABOUT MARRIAGE.

8 IMPORTANT HADITH IN ISLAM ABOUT MARRIAGE.

HADITH ON MARRIAGE IN ISLAM:

Marriage is important aspect of life of each and every person.
Narrated AbuHurayrah Allah’s Messenger (peace be upon him) said, ‘When someone with whose religion and character you are satisfied asks your daughter in marriage, accede to his request. If you do not do so, there will be temptation on Earth and extensive corruption.’ Tirmidhi, Nasa’i and Ibn Majah transmitted it. Al-Tirmidhi – Hadith 3090 Narrated Umar bin Al-Khattab: I heard Allah’s Apostle saying, “The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. So whoever emigrated for worldly benefits or for a woman to marry, his emigration was for what he emigrated for.” Sahih Al-Bukhari – Book 1 Hadith 1 Narrated Thawban When “And those who hoard gold and silver” came down they were with the Prophet (peace be upon him) on one of his journeys. One of his companions said, “It has come down about gold and silver. Would that we knew which property is best so that we might acquire it!” He replied, “The best property is a tongue which mentions Allah, a grateful heart, and a believing wife who helps a man with his faith.” Ahmad, Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah transmitted it. Al-Tirmidhi – Hadith 2275 Narrated Abdullah: We were with the Prophet (peace be upon him) while we were young and had no wealth whatever. So Allah’s Apostle said, “O young people! Whoever among you can marry, should marry, because it helps him lower his gaze and guard his modesty (i.e. his private parts from committing illegal sexual intercourse etc.), and whoever is not able to marry, should fast, as fasting diminishes his sexual power.” Sahih Al-Bukhari – Book 62 Hadith 4 Narrated Abu Haraira: Allah’s Apostle said, “A lady slave should not be given in marriage until she is consulted, and a virgin should not be given in marriage until her permission is granted.” The people said, “How will she express her permission?” The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “By keeping silent (when asked her consent).” Some people said, “If a man, by playing a trick, presents two false witnesses before the judge to testify that he has married a matron with her consent and the judge confirms his marriage, and the husband is sure that he has never married her (before), then such a marriage will be considered as a legal one and he may live with her as husband.” Sahih Al-Bukhari – Book 86 Hadith 100 Narrated Khansa bint Khidam Al Ansariya: That her father gave her in marriage when she was a matron and she disliked that marriage. So she came and (complained) to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and he declared that marriage invalid. Sahih Al-Bukhari – Book 62 Hadith 69 Narrated Sahl bin Sad As-Sa’idi: While I was (sitting) among the people in the company of Allah’s Apostle a woman stood up and said, “O Allah’s Apostle! She has given herself in marriage to you; please give your opinion of her.” The Prophet did not give her any reply. She again stood up and said, “O Allah’s Apostle! She has given herself (in marriage) to you; so please give your opinion of her. The Prophet did not give her any reply. She again stood up for the third time and said, “She has given herself in marriage to you: so give your opinion of her.” So a man stood up and said, “O Allah’s Apostle! Marry her to me.” The Prophet asked him, “Have you got anything?” He said, “No.” the Prophet said, “Go and search for something, even if it were an iron ring.” The man went and searched and then returned saying, “I could not find anything, not even an iron ring.” Then the Prophet said, “Do you know something of the Quran (by heart)?” He replied, “I know (by heart) such Sura and such Sura.” The Prophet said, “Go! I have married her to you for what you know of the Quran (by heart).” Sahih Al-Bukhari – Book 62 Hadith 79 Narrated AbuMusa: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: There is no marriage without the permission of a guardian. Sunan of Abu Dawood – Book 11 Hadith 2080 Narrated SaburahibnMa’bad al-Juhani: The Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) prohibited temporary marriage with women. Sunan of Abu Dawood – Book 11 Hadith 2068 Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Consult women about (the marriage of) their daughters. Sunan of Abu Dawood – Book 11 Hadith 2090 Narrated Aisha, UmmulMu’minin: The Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) said: The marriage of a woman who marries without the consent of her guardians is void. (He said these words) three times. If there is cohabitation, she gets her dower for the intercourse her husband has had. If there is a dispute, the sultan (man in authority) is the guardian of one who has none. Sunan of Abu Dawood – Book 11 Hadith 2078 Narrated AbuHurayrah: When the Prophet (peace be upon him) congratulated a man on his marriage, he said: May Allah bless for you, and may He bless on you, and combine both of you in good (works). Sunan of Abu Dawood – Book 11 Hadith 2125 Narrated Abdullah ibn Abbas The temporary marriage applied only in the early days of Islam. A man would come to a settlement where he had no acquaintance and marry a woman for the period it was thought he would stay there, and she would look after his belongings and cook for him. But Ibn Abbas said that when the verse came down, “Except their wives or the captives their right hands possess,” intercourse with anyone else became unlawful. Tirmidhi transmitted it. Al-Tirmidhi – Hadith 3158 Narrated Ibn Abbas: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “If anyone of you, when intending to have a sexual intercourse with his wife, says: ‘Bismillah, Allahummajannibna-sh-shaitan, wajannibi-sh-shaitan ma razaqtana,’ and if the couple are destined to have a child (out of that very sexual relation), then Satan will never be able to harm that child.” Sahih Al-Bukhari – Book 75 Hadith 397 Narrated Ibn Abbas: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “If anyone of you on having sexual relations with his wife said (and he must say it before starting) ‘In the name of Allah. O Allah! Protect us from Satan and also protect what you bestow upon us (i.e. the coming offspring) from Satan, and if it is destined that they should have a child then, Satan will never be able to harm that offspring.” Sahih Al-Bukhari – Book 4 Hadith 143 Narrated Amr; We asked Ibn Umar: “May a man have sexual relations with his wife during the Umra before performing Tawaf between Safa and Marwa?” He said, “Allah’s Apostle arrived (in Mecca) and circumambulated the Kaba seven times, then offered two Rakat behind Maqam Ibrahim (the station of Abraham), then performed Tawaf between Safa and Marwa.” Ibn Umar added, “Verily! In Allah’s Apostle you have a good example.” And I asked Jabir bin Abdullah (the same question), and he replied, “You should not go near your wives (have sexual relations) till you have finished Tawaf between Safa and Marwa.” Sahih Al-Bukhari – Book 26 Hadith 690

THE IMPORTANT HADITH IN ISLAM KNOWN AS HADITH OF JABRIEL IS AS FOLLOWSA;

ONE DAY PROPHET MUHAMMAD (PBUH) WAS SITTING AMONG ALL OF HIS COMPANIONS CALLED "SAHABAH" AND A STRANGE MAN CAME IN TO THE MASJID. SINCE MADINAH WAS A SMALL CITY AND EVERY ONE KNEW EVERY OTHER PERSON. BUT THIS PERSON WAS NOT KNOWN TO ANYONE. THEY HAD NEVER SEEN HIM BEFORE. HE WAS A VERY HANDSOME MAN WHO HAD WORN VERY CLEAN WHITE CLOTHES NOT A LITTLE CREASE WAS IN THEM. HIS BEARD WAS FULL AND BLACK. SO THEY WERE AMAZED AND WANTED TO KNOW WHO WAS THE MAN.

He entered in and went directly to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He sat down and put his hands on the knees of Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) and leaned forward and asked:
" O, Rasool Allah , Tell me What is Islam?"
The Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) replied that Islam is the five pillars that you know are to testify the faith , to establish the salah(Prayers), to pay the Zakat, to fast in Ramadan and to do Hajj( Pilgrimage to Mecca).
So the man said " You have spoken the truth"
The Companions were shocked for how could anyone dare to tell Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) that he has spoken the truth.
Then the man asked, "What is Faith (Imaan)?"
Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) replied that the faith is six pillars that you know, to believe in Allah and to believe in angels and to believe in the Prophets and to believe in the books and to believe in the day of judgment and to believe in predestination"
So the man said " You have spoken the truth"
Then the man asked the third question, " What is  Ihsaan- the state of excellence?"
Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) replied that this state of excellence is as if you are worshiping Allah all the time, as if you are looking directly on him though you can't see him and as Allah is looking at you.
Once again, the man said " You have spoken the truth"
Then the man asked the fourth question?
"What is the day of Judgment ?"
The Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.) said that i don't know more than you do. Both you and me don't know about the day of judgment.
Then the man said " What are the Signs that show that The Day Of Judgment is close?"
The Prophet Muhammad said that the sign are many, of them are
the shepherd who don't have money and who don't even have sandals to wear, you will find them competing with one another for building taller and taller buildings, ------------
Then the man said " You have spoken the truth"
Then the man left.
The Prophet Muhammad said to the companions to bring him back.
They rushed outside and found he had disappeared in thin air. They came back and told The Prophet Muhammad that he is not there.
The Prophet Muhammad said that haven't you figured the man, don't you have an idea who is the man.
They replied that they didn't know him.
The Prophet Muhammad said that he was the Angel Jabraiel Who came to teach you your religion.

This is called the Hadith of Jabriel .

WHAT IS ISLAM AND BASICS OF ISLAM

WHAT IS ISLAM
WHAT IS ISLAM?

Islam is one of the major religions in the world. This is not only the religion but the full way of life. Its followers are called Muslims. Muslims believe in One God [ALMIGHTY ALLAH] and the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as the last messenger of Allah.Muslims follow a religion of peace, mercy and forgiveness that should not be associated with acts of violence against the innocent.

The History of Islam
In the seventh century, Muhammad claimed the angel Gabriel visited him. During these angelic visitations, which continued for about 23 years until Muhammad's death, the angel purportedly revealed to Muhammad the words of Allah (the Arabic word for “God” used by Muslims). These dictated revelations compose the Qur'an, Islam's holy book. Islam means “submission,” deriving from a root word that means “peace.” The word Muslim means “one who submits to Allah.”

The Doctrine of Islam
Muslims summarize their doctrine in six articles of faith:
1. Belief in one Allah: Muslims believe Allah is one, eternal, creator, and sovereign.
2. Belief in the angels
3. Belief in the prophets: The prophets include the biblical prophets but end with Muhammad as Allah’s final prophet.
4. Belief in the revelations of Allah: Muslims accept certain portions of the Bible, such as the Torah and the Gospels. They believe the Qur'an is the preexistent, perfect word of Allah.
5. Belief in the last day of judgment and the hereafter: Everyone will be resurrected for judgment into either paradise or hell.
6. Belief in predestination: Muslims believe Allah has decreed everything that will happen. Muslims testify to Allah’s sovereignty with their frequent phrase, inshallah, meaning, “if God wills.”

The Five Pillars in Islam
1. The Declaration of Faith: The declaration of faith in Allah, as the One Supreme God, by Tongue and Heart. This is better described in two statements:
                a). Aeeman-i-Mufasil
                b). Aeeman-i-Mujamil
2. Prayers: Muslims perform prayers called "Namaz" five times a day. These are obligatory prayers which serve as a direct connection between the worshipper and the God.
3. Zakat: Zakat means a charitable giving. The wealth is believed to be held in trust by people and contains the share of those in need. The Zakat is two and a half percent of one's wealth and is given once a year.
4. Fasting: In the ninth month of Islamic Calander, RAMADAN, Muslims fast from first Light until Sunset. This is method of self purification and a form of worship.
5.Pilgrimage: The Pilgrimage or Hajj to Mecca is obligatory for all those Muslims who are financially and physically in a condition to afford the pilgrimage.

The Holy Book: The QURAN is holy book sent by Allah over Muhammad(PBUH). It is read and followed in daily life.
